The Community College and Tribal College Fellowship Bridge Program provides funding for students completing summer research projects in a STEM field. This program is open to students transferring from ND affiliate two-year colleges to UND or NDSU to complete a four year degree. Recipients must complete a summer research project under the advisement of a UND or NDSU faculty mentor during the summer, prior to enrollment. Research projects must be in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field.
Undergraduate students will receive a $3500 stipend for the summer.
- Citizen of the United States
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Transfer student from ND Affiliate College to either the University of North Dakota or North Dakota State University, beginning classes in the fall semester following the summer research project
Students interested in applying are strongly encouraged to contact the NDSGC, so the students can receive help matching their research interests with UND or NDSU faculty mentors.
