Graduate Research Assistantships (GRA) to the UND Department of Space Studies
Provides two ½ time Graduate Research Assistantships (GRA) to the UND Department of Space Studies to conduct NASA‐relevant research.
The UND Department of Space Studies is the nexus of various disciplines of space research in North Dakota and provides diverse, interdisciplinary, and advanced opportunities in NASA-relevant
areas of science and engineering. Funded students are expected to conduct research and graduate with a publishable M.S. thesis.

Graduate Research Assistantships (GRA) to the UND Observatory
Provides a ½‐time GRA appointment to one graduate student to assist in operations and scientific research at the UND Observatory.
The UND Observatory is a growing education and research facility that offers small, remotely‐controllable optical and radio telescopes for basic astronomical research and education projects.
Observatory institutional projects and activities include small body astrometry, broadband photometry of asteroids and variable stars, solar radio monitoring, and visible‐wavelength stellar spectroscopy.
