Educator Workshop - NASA in the Classroom

The North Dakota Space Grant Consortium is hosting an educator workshop on bringing NASA and Galileo Educator Network resources and activities to the classroom.  The workshop will also focus on incorporating the Next Generation Science Standards into existing and new lesson plans, and will include interactive tours of the Spacecraft Simulators and UND Observatory.  Teachers will leave with a better understanding of space sciences in general as well as posters, handouts, and a Hands-On-Universe DVD of astronomy activities.  The workshop is open to both in-service and pre-service K-12 teachers.  North Dakota teachers will receive travel reimbursement and meals are provided!

The workshop will be held on UND campus March 28th-29th. More details and registration for UND Professional Development Credit are available online:  View a flyer of this opportunity here.
