Students who will be presenting their STEM or NASA-relevant research at a conference, or attending a professional development workshop are eligible to apply for travel assistance from the NDSGC to cover associated costs (e.g. airfare, ground transportation, per diem, hotel, registration, etc.). International travel is not supported. Students are eligible to receive one travel grant per degree program. Travel grant requests are due no later than two weeks prior to the conference start date. Please note that NDSGC funds are limited and are awarded competitively. Students are limited to a $1,000 travel grant; exceptions include students pursuing post-secondary degrees (i.e. students who received a travel grant are able to apply as a graduate student).
- Applicants must be citizens of the United States who are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program as a student at one of the NDSGC affiliated institutions
- Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.00
- The research to be presented must be in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Please contact Marissa Saad with any travel grant-related questions.
