Affiliate Mini-Grants
Affiliate mini-grants are available to NDSGC affiliate representatives who are hosting or participating in research or education events related to STEM and/or NASA. Affiliate mini-grants may also be applied towards college-level initiatives, such as materials funding for their STEM courses and research, or travel funding for their college students to participate in field research related to their STEM courses. Faculty must be directly involved in the programming to be eligible for a mini-grant. Affiliate mini-grants are competitively awarded, as the NDSGC reviews all applications using a rubric to evaluate scientific/technical merit, budget reasonableness, NASA-relevance, North Dakota-relevance, inter-institutional, industry, and NASA collaborations, student involvement, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and capability to evolve into a self-sustainable effort. Awards of up to $2,500 will be available to NDSGC affiliate members (see application guidance). Stipends (personal or for students) are unallowable. If you are awarded a mini-grant, a final report must be completed to be eligible for future awards. For additional information, please contact the NDSGC team.
